Avece Higbee Manipulates DA, Politicians and Las Vegas Review-Journal from Investigating Her Massive HOA Fraud Scheme at the Meridian HOA in Las Vegas

Despite a state investigation revealing HOA laywer Avece Higbee had fraudulently billed and helped her client, HOA President Michael Schurer, steal from Meridian homeowners and rig elections, potentially grifting millions and millions of dollars, for more than a decade, she has somehow avoided criminal prosecution and disbarment.

During recorded HOA meetings Avece Higbee has told lie after lie about state investigations yet the entire Meridian HOA board has praised her integrity. The HOA board has broken every fiduciary law on the books in service of Michael Schurer's massive pilfering operation at the Meridian. His business IMS Realty which uses Meridian lawyers, maintenance security staff, secretaries, HOA board members, charging stations, meeting rooms etc for his own business services buying and selling properties and servicing hundreds of property management clients has made a fortune with Avece Higbee's support subverting the truth and the law in fealty to Mr. Schurer.

The DA won't get involved.

The Nevada Real Estate Division lacks the jurisdication to send Ms. Higbee to jail for life where she belongs.

Politician after politician has said their hands are tied.

The Meridian HOA Board has praised Avece Higbee as she's ignored the law, concealed and lied about state investigations and worked around HOA protocol and regulations to help Michael Schurer rig elections.

Rather than investigate Avece Higbee the Las Vegas Review-Journal has actually paid this fraudster to write articles of expertise for them.

Politicians and journalists lack the integrity to uncover an epic and astoundingly obvious graft right under their noses. 

The Meridian HOA takes in over a quarter million dollars per month in HOA fees. This is higher than any similar property in Las Vegas. It's not even close. It's estimated up to half of these funds (over 30 million over the past 15 years) have gone directly to Michael Schurer and Avece Higbee. Yet without an independent audit and an investigation by the FBI it's likely the millions of ill-gotten gains by these fraudsters will ever be reclaimed by the Meridian HOA homeowner victims who remain in the dark of this clever quid pro quo scam.
